Description:
2-Fluoro-1,3,5-Trinitro-Benzene is a liquid crystal that has been shown to have optical activity. It is soluble in cyclohexane and amides. 2-Fluoro-1,3,5-Trinitro-Benzene can be used as a precursor for the synthesis of monoclonal antibodies, which are used to detect and treat tumors and coronary heart diseases. This compound reacts with amines by an acylation reaction and has been shown to interact with hydrogen fluoride.
