It also inhibits the activity of dehydrogenases, which are enzymes that catalyze the oxidation of alcohols and aldehydes. 4-(Fluorosulfonyl)Benzoyl Chloride can be used as an oncologic drug for the treatment of tumors with high levels of adenine nucleotides, such as leukemia and lymphoma. This agent is also used in biochemical research to label adenosine nucleotides to study their reaction with other molecules and to identify their binding sites.
