4-Fluoro Benzylamine Hydrochloride is a drug that belongs to the group of amines. It is used as a monitoring agent in the detection of enterococci in blood cultures and can be used in the treatment of cardiovascular disorders. 4-Fluoro benzylamine hydrochloride has been shown to interact with calcium channel blockers, such as amines and calcium channel blockers. The drug lowers blood pressure by blocking the carotid artery, which may result from its ability to inhibit the activation of voltage-gated calcium channels. 4-Fluoro benzylamine hydrochloride has also been shown to have an antibacterial effect against staphylococci and hypotensive effects on eukaryotic cells.
