2'-Fluorobiphenyl-3-Carboxylic Acid (2F3CA) is an inhibitor of the protease thrombin that is used to treat a number of inflammatory diseases. 2'-Fluorobiphenyl-3-Carboxylic Acid has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in mice with subcutaneous tumors and is currently being tested as a monoclonal antibody in an outbreak. 2'-Fluorobiphenyl-3-Carboxylic Acid inhibits the clotting cascade, which may be due to its interaction with the thrombin receptor. This drug also possesses antigenic properties, which can be used for the development of vaccines against influenza virus.
