Description:
(2S)-1-Fluoro-3-phenylpropan-2-amine hydrochloride is an optical isomer of (2R)-1-fluoro-3-phenylpropan-2-amine hydrochloride, which has been shown to have high affinity for the dopamine transporter. It has been shown to inhibit the reuptake of dopamine in rat striatum, as well as produce locomotor activity in rats. These effects may be due to its ability to act as a DRI agonist.
