Description:
1-fluoro-4-(isocyanatomethyl)benzene is a histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor. It binds to the active site of HDAC, preventing it from removing acetyl groups from histones, which leads to an increase in the acetylation of histones and subsequent changes in gene expression. 1-Fluoro-4-(isocyanatomethyl)benzene inhibits HDAC1 and HDAC2 isotypes, but not HDAC3. This drug also has good metabolic stability and can be used for a variety of studies that utilize cell-based assays.
