4-Fluoro-2-(Trifluoromethyl)Benzamide is an aliphatic linker with a fluorine atom that can be used to optimize the potency of lead compounds. It has shown to be a potent inhibitor of medulloblastoma cell lines in vitro and in vivo. 4-Fluoro-2-(Trifluoromethyl)Benzamide has been found to inhibit the phosphorylation of AKT, which is required for tumorigenesis. This compound also inhibits the activity of enzymes in the allograft pathway, which are necessary for tumor growth and metastasis.
