Product Information
4-Fluoro-2-methylphenyl isothiocyanate (FPI) is a quinazolinone that has been shown to have antimicrobial activity. It was also found to be able to inhibit cancer growth in vitro. FPI has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of the growth of cancer cells and also induces apoptosis. The mechanism of action is not known, but it may be due to its ability to inhibit DNA synthesis or induce cell death. FPI has also been shown to form conjugates with sorafenib, which may increase its effectiveness as an anticancer drug and decrease the side effects associated with this therapy.
