Product Information
- Salicylaldehyde,3-fluoro-, oxime (8CI)
- 3-Fluorosalicylaldoxime
2-Fluoro-6-[(E)-(hydroxyimino)methyl]phenol (2FPH) is a synthetic molecule with a centrosymmetric crystal structure. It has been analysed using Raman spectroscopy and found to have a crystalline structure. The crystal was observed to be centrosymmetric and the molecular weight was calculated to be 246.4 g/mol. 2FPH is an aromatic compound that can be used in some reactions, such as the synthesis of salicylaldoxime. The molecule has been found to interact with other molecules at the frequency of 523 cm-1 and undergoes a transition from an S0 state to an S1 state under pressures of 0.5 GPa. The frequency is unique for this molecule and can be used for identification purposes, for instance in forensic science or medicine.
