Description:

(1R,2S)-2-(4-Fluorophenyl)Cyclopropan-1-Amine is a selective 5-HT2 receptor antagonist. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the uptake of dopamine and noradrenaline in rat brain synaptosomes. This compound also has been shown to be effective in treating schizophrenic patients with dyskinesia and ameliorating depression. (1R,2S)-2-(4-Fluorophenyl)Cyclopropan-1-Amine can block the binding of serotonin to 5-HT receptors in the central nervous system and thus decrease depressive symptoms.
