4-(3-Fluorophenyl)diazenyl-N,N-dimethylaniline (4FDMA) is a chemical that belongs to the group of mutagens and teratogens. This compound has been shown to cause toxic effects in a multivariate analysis, correlating with carcinogenicity, toxicity and expressible endpoints. 4FDMA can cause cancer in animals through multistage mechanisms that involve the formation of DNA adducts at the site of contact with this chemical.
