Description:

5-Fluoro-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-quinoline hydrochloride is a perfluoroalkyl group that is used as an additive in polyester and other polymers to increase their resistance to heat. It has been shown to be thermoplastic with a melting point of about 120 degrees Celsius. 5-Fluoro-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-quinoline hydrochloride is also used as a catalyst in the production of polyurethane foams and plastics. This compound also has antihemostatic properties and can be used for the treatment of bleeding disorders.
