Description

5-(3-(4-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1-Piperazinyl)Propoxy)Indan is a preloaded drug that inhibits the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and lipid levels in animals. It has been shown to inhibit uptake of lipoproteins by cells, and is effective against viruses such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B virus, and herpes simplex virus type 1. 5-(3-(4-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1-Piperazinyl)Propoxy)Indan also has benzodiazepine receptor binding properties and can be used to study benzodiazepine receptor function in transgenic animals.
