Description:
[(2S,4S,5R)-4-Fluoro-5-Purin-9-Yloxolan-2-Yl]Methanol is a synthetic compound that has been shown to inhibit both aldehyde oxidase and dehydrogenase. It has also been shown to be effective against pyrazinoic acid in vitro studies. This drug has been found to metabolize methylxanthines such as caffeine and theophylline. [(2S,4S,5R)-4-Fluoro-5-Purin-9-Yloxolan-2-Yl]Methanol is used for the treatment of pathophysiologic conditions such as lysis or reactive conditions.
