6-Fluoro-(1,2,3,4-Tetrahydro-7,12-Dimethylbenz(a)Anthracene) is a reactive aromatic hydrocarbon that exhibits carcinogenic activity. It is found in animal tissues and has been shown to be metabolized through oxidation reactions involving fluorine. This compound has also been shown to exhibit mutagenic properties in rat liver microsomes. 6-Fluoro-(1,2,3,4-Tetrahydro-7,12-Dimethylbenz(a)Anthracene) is found in coal tar and tobacco smoke.
