N-[3-[3-(4-Fluorophenoxy)Phenyl]-1-Methyl-2-Propen-1-Yl]-N-Hydroxy-Urea is an organofluorine compound that inhibits the 5-lipoxygenase enzyme, which is responsible for the production of leukotrienes. It has been shown to inhibit asthma and related respiratory disorders by reducing the production of leukotrienes. This drug also contains a hydroxamic acid group, which is a type of antihistamine. The oxygen atom in this group can bind to histamine, thereby preventing it from binding to histamine receptors and causing allergic reactions.
