(3aS,9aS)-8-Fluoro-2,3,3a,9a-Tetrahydro-1H-[1,4]Benzodioxino[2,3-c]Pyrrole is a drug that binds to the 5-HT1A receptor and has been shown to have antidepressant effects. It also has been shown to have an important role in the regulation of neuronal function. (3aS,9aS)-8-Fluoro-2,3,3a,9a-Tetrahydro-1H-[1,4]Benzodioxino[2,3-c]Pyrrole has been studied for its effects on memory and cognition in mice with Alzheimer’s disease. This drug was found to prevent memory impairment as well as improve learning and memory in these animals.
