(R)-2-Chloro-8-cyclopentyl-7-ethyl-5-methyl-7,8-dihydropteridin-6(5H)-one is an alkynyl, trifluoromethoxy, alkenyl, and c1-4 alkyl compound that has been shown to have cognition enhancing properties. It also exhibits antiinflammatory and antinociceptive effects when administered. The chemical structure of (R)-2-Chloro-8-cyclopentyl-7-ethyl -5 -methyl -7,8 -dihydropteridin -6 (5H) one contains a pyridazine moiety and a c1-4 alkoxy group.
