Description

Z-Gln-Gly-OH is a synthetic amino acid. It is an acid conjugate, which is a derivative of the amino acid that has been covalently linked to an organic acid. Z-Gln-Gly-OH is used for the synthesis of recombinant proteins and as a potential drug for the treatment of cancer because it inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase. This product can also be used as a cofactor in enzymatic reactions, such as polymerase chain reactions (PCR) or DNA sequencing.
