Erythro-Glycopyrronium bromide is a quaternary ammonium anticholinergic drug with clinical use in the treatment of pulmonary disease. It acts by blocking the action of acetylcholine at the muscarinic acetylcholine receptor. Erythro-Glycopyrronium bromide has been shown to be safe and effective in human clinical trials, with no adverse effects on heart rate or blood pressure. This drug has a long duration of action and is an enantiomer of glycopyrrolate.
