4-Guanidinobenzoic acid hydrochloride salt is a perovskite that has anti-inflammatory properties. It provides relief for chronic pancreatitis, chronic inflammatory diseases, and other types of inflammation. 4-Guanidinobenzoic acid hydrochloride salt is an aminopropyl derivative of naphthol. It has been shown to have good water solubility and low toxicity. The drug has a high purity level, but it also contains impurities such as methoxybenzene, which can be removed through filtration or by crystallization with methyl alcohol. 4-Guanidinobenzoic acid hydrochloride salt is activated by the addition of inorganic salts such as sodium bicarbonate or ammonium chloride to form the active drug nafamostat mesylate. This medication can be taken orally and may cause nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea in some patients.
