Description:
Geranyl nitrite is a chemical that is used for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It works by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase, which leads to an increase in intracellular levels of cAMP and calcium ions. This activity makes it an effective bronchodilator.
