Product Information
Grifolic acid is a bioactive phenolic compound. It has been shown to induce the apoptosis of human osteosarcoma cells, and inhibit the proliferation of these cells in a dose-dependent manner. Grifolic acid also inhibits the production of fetal bovine growth hormone (FGF) and has been shown to have beneficial effects on metabolic disorders, such as type 2 diabetes mellitus. Grifolic acid is a natural compound with receptor activity, which may be related to its ability to regulate cell lysis, ATP levels, and cytosolic Ca2+. The reaction mechanism for this compound may involve the mitochondrial membrane potential and energy metabolism.
