Description:
Glycidyl 4-toluenesulfonate is a heterocyclic compound that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of epoxides. The nucleophilic nature of the hydroxyl group on this molecule, along with its ability to form a stable glycosidic linkage with a sugar, makes it useful in the synthesis of glycoconjugates.
