Description:

4-Amino-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid is a compound that belongs to the group of aromatic amines. It is an intermediate in the synthesis of pyridinium salt compounds, which are used as diagnostic agents and therapeutic drugs. 4-Amino-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid has been shown to have cytotoxic activity against cholesterol esterase and fatty acids. This compound also has a constant linker length and hydrophobic properties, which make it useful for solid phase synthesis. 4-Amino-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid is expressed in all organisms, but its expression level varies depending on the organism's environment. The optimal reaction conditions for this compound's synthesis are pH 5 and 30°C. Heating the compound causes thermal denaturation, leading to loss of biological activity.
