Description:

3-Hydrazinylbenzonitrile hydrochloride is an orally active tyrosine kinase inhibitor that binds to the ATP-binding site of the enzyme, thereby inhibiting its activity. This drug has been shown to inhibit the growth of human lung cancer cells and lymphoma cells in vitro. 3-Hydrazinylbenzonitrile hydrochloride has also been shown to be selective for certain types of tyrosine kinases, such as receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) and protein kinases C (PKC). It is well tolerated by animals and humans, and does not have any significant side effects.
