Description:

4-Hex-1-ynylbenzaldehyde is an efficient and selective oxidative agent that can be used to synthesize arylboronic acids. It is used in cross-coupling reactions with a wide range of arylalkynes, including terminal alkynes. 4-Hex-1-ynylbenzaldehyde can also be used as a precursor for the formation of silver oxide nanoparticles. This compound has been shown to be effective in the catalyzed cross-coupling reaction between palladium and terminal alkyne. The yields are high, with experimental values of 96%.
