Description:
4-Hydroxylthiocoumarin is a phenyl group that is found in the compounds biphenyl, phenoxyphenyl and tetrahydronaphthyl. It has a carbonyl group, which can be substituted with hydroxyl or halogen. The rodenticides are used to kill rodents by causing them to go into convulsions. This substance also has the ability to inhibit the production of protein and DNA synthesis in cells, as well as reducing their viability.
