Product Information

Name:
HNMPA- (AM) 3
Description:

HNMPA-(AM) 3 is a potent inhibitor of tumor cell proliferation and an insulin sensitizing agent. It has been shown to inhibit the uptake of glucose by cancer cells, which may be due to its effect on insulin resistance. HNMPA- (AM) 3 also alters the signaling pathways in cancer cells, which leads to inhibition of tumor cell growth. This drug has been shown to prevent the differentiation of ventricular myocytes in culture and to reduce their viability by inhibiting protein synthesis and fatty acid metabolism. HNMPA- (AM) 3 also inhibits the cation channel that is present in L6 cells, leading to decreased cellular excitability. The effects of this drug are not limited to cancer cells as it can also affect other cell types such as PC12 cells.
