DL-Homoserine Lactone hydrochloride is a cyclohexylammonium salt that is used as a catalyst in the production of phosgene, which is an important precursor to many organic compounds. DL-Homoserine Lactone hydrochloride also catalyzes the conversion of cyanates to isocyanates, aminooxy groups to aminoxy groups and copper complexes. This product has been shown to be an effective catalyst for the production of copper from copper sulfate and potassium.
