Description:
1-Heptyl-1H-imidazole is a basic molecule with a phase transition temperature of -20°C to 20°C. It has been shown that 1-heptyl-1H-imidazole has antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Bacillus subtilis. The reaction time for complete destruction of the bacteria was found to be between 10 minutes and 1 hour. This chemical is an aromatic heterocycle containing a hydrocarbon group.
