Description:
2-(1-Hydroxyethyl) promazine is a sulfoxide metabolite of promazine. It has been used as an analytical reagent in the control analysis of promazine and other sulfoxides in biological samples. It has been analysed by on-line kinetic spectrophotometry at 412 nm, with a detection time of approximately 20 minutes. 2-(1-Hydroxyethyl) promazine can be detected in red blood cells and urine samples from humans.
