1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexafluoroisopropyl acrylate is a cross-linking agent. It has been shown to be an efficient cross-linking agent for polymers that are rechargeable. This product has not been shown to have any adverse health effects and does not appear to have any mutagenic properties. 1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexafluoroisopropyl acrylate is also a fluorine containing compound that has been shown to be a polymerization initiator for unsaturated alkyl chains. The chemical structures of this product consist of an aromatic hydrocarbon with six carbon atoms and two fluorine atoms bonded to each other. The magnetic resonance spectroscopy of this product shows that it is a high molecular weight material with a particle size between 0.5 and 1 micron.
