Description

Hexamethylditin is a compound that belongs to the group of hexamethyldisiloxane. It is a colorless liquid with a boiling point of -5 degrees Celsius. Hexamethylditin has been shown to be an efficient catalyst in the palladium-catalyzed coupling reaction, which is used in organic synthesis. Hexamethylditin has also been shown to be effective in the preparation of stable complexes with trimethyl tin and 5-membered heteroaryl compounds. The chemical reactions of hexamethylditin are not known, but it can react with chloride and yield chloride as a product.
