1,1,2,2,3,3-Hexafluoropropane-1,3-disulfonimide is a transition metal ion catalyst that can be used in the synthesis of cyclic polymers. 1,1,2,2,3,3-Hexafluoropropane-1,3-disulfonimide has been shown to enhance the efficiency of x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and microscopy. 1,1,2,2,3,3-Hexafluoropropane-1,3-disulfonimide is also able to catalyze a variety of reactions by interacting with transition metal ions.
