Product Information
2,3,6,7,10,11-Hexamethoxytriphenylene is a photoelectron acceptor and has been shown to be rechargeable. It has been shown to have a monolayer of functional groups that interact with other molecules on the surface. This interaction between 2,3,6,7,10,11-hexamethoxytriphenylene and the surface results in trimerization of the molecule. 2,3,6,7,10,11-Hexamethoxytriphenylene has been studied using crystallographic data and molecular modeling techniques. Veratrol is a molecule that is structurally similar to 2,3,6,-7,-10,-11-hexamethoxytriphenylene; it also displays photoelectron properties but does not appear to be rechargeable.
