Description:

H-His(Trt)-OH is a potential anticancer agent that inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells. H-His(Trt)-OH has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on inflammation, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin 1β (IL-1β). H-His(Trt)-OH has also been shown to have an inhibitory effect on cardiac arrhythmia, which may be due to its affinity for cardiac myocytes and its ability to inhibit the activity of potassium channels. H-His(Trt)-OH binds preferentially to prenylated proteins, such as atrial natriuretic peptide receptor, leading to inhibition of protein synthesis. This compound can also form hydrogen bonds with other compounds in aqueous solution.
