Product Information
6a-Hydroxygeniposide is a phenolic compound found in the extract of the roots of Ophiopogon japonicus and Curcuma aromatica. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anticarcinogenic properties. 6a-Hydroxygeniposide has been shown to bind to calmodulin, which results in inhibition of histamine release from mast cells. In addition, 6a-hydroxygeniposide has also been shown to reduce the activity of fructus and sodium salts that are involved in the formation of advanced glycation end products. This compound also inhibits protocatechuic acid, acetate extract, and metal hydroxides that are involved in oxidative stress-induced tumorigenesis.
