Description:
2H-Pyrido[3,2-b]-1,4-oxazin-3(4H)-one is a guanylate cyclase activator that is used as an investigational agent in the treatment of thrombocytopenia. It has been shown to increase platelet production by activating soluble guanylyl cyclase and increasing cGMP levels. 2H-Pyrido[3,2-b]-1,4-oxazin-3(4H)-one has also been shown to activate the immune system by stimulating T cells and B cells. This drug inhibits tyrosine kinases and may inhibit the proliferation of tumour cells.
