Description:
4-(Hydroxymethyl)acetophenone is an organic compound that is used to make other organic compounds. This compound has a high activity and can react with a variety of functional groups, including amides, aldehydes, chloride, divalent metals, and reductase genes. 4-(Hydroxymethyl)acetophenone can be used to make other organic compounds that are used in the production of polyurethane foam insulation. When this chemical is combined with azides or alkene, it undergoes an evaporation reaction. 4-(Hydroxymethyl)acetophenone is also used to produce activated carbon for water purification. This chemical can also be irradiated with radiation to produce an amide or transfer group.
