Heptafluorobutyramidine is a synthetic molecule that is used as a precursor to other compounds. Heptafluorobutyramidine can be synthesized from the reaction of hydrogen chloride and hydroxyl group, using c1-c6 alkoxy. This molecule can also be synthesized by reacting haloalkyl with metal surface, or by nitro, dioxime, peroxide, acrylate or vinyl ether reactions. Heptafluorobutyramidine has been shown to have a colorant effect and can be used in the production of high molecular weight polymers.
