Description:
3,3,4,4,5,5,5-Heptafluoro-2-Pentanol is a fluorinated alcohol that has been used as an emulsifier in the production of tetraalkylammonium carbonates. It has also been used as a nitrogenous base and surfactant in the production of non-ionic surfactants. It is also a catalyst for reactions involving halides and surfactants. 3,3,4,4,5,5,5-Heptafluoro-2-Pentanol is also used as an additive to prevent corrosion in metalworking fluids.
