Product Information

Name:
Heptafluorobutanoic acid octadecyl ester
Description:

Heptafluorobutanoic acid octadecyl ester is obtained by extracting fatty acids from a variety of plant sources. It has shown antibacterial properties against a range of bacterial species, which may be due to its ability to inhibit bacterial growth. Heptafluorobutanoic acid octadecyl ester also has significant anti-inflammatory properties. This extract has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria in vitro and in vivo, and is therefore considered a promising agent for the treatment of infectious diseases. The mechanisms by which it inhibits bacterial growth are not yet understood, but some studies have suggested that it may interfere with lipid membrane structure.
