Description:

GLPG2451 is a drug for the treatment of chronic obstructive bronchitis in adults. It is a combination of two active substances, tiotropium and glycopyrronium. The use of this drug has been studied in women with symptoms of bronchitis, including stenotrophomonas maltophilia (STM) or bronchial asthma. The efficacy and safety of GLPG2451 has not yet been studied in children. The most common side effects are cough, headache, and dyspnoea. GLPG2451 can interact with other drugs, such as diuretics, beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin receptor antagonists (ARBs), and anticoagulants.
GLPG2451 is contraindicated during pregnancy because it may cause birth defects or fetal death if used by pregnant women during the first trimester or if used during the last trimester when there may be insufficient time
