6-[2-(4-Imidazolyl)Ethylamino]-N-(4-Trifluoromethylphenyl)Heptanecarboxamide Dimaleate is a drug that belongs to the class of coumarin derivatives. It has been shown to have low potency and a maximal response in cells from the human stem cell factor (SCF) receptor subtype. 6-[2-(4-Imidazolyl)Ethylamino]-N-(4-Trifluoromethylphenyl)Heptanecarboxamide Dimaleate is an agonist for the h2 receptor. It has also been shown to cause an increase in blood pressure in rats, which may be due to its ability to stimulate Ca2+ concentrations in vascular smooth muscle cells.
