IL-8 Inhibitor Ac-Arg-Arg-Trp-Trp-Cys-Arg-NH2 is a molecule that blocks the receptor for IL-8, a c-c chemokine. This leads to reduced inflammation and decreased activation of cells in the inflammatory process. IL-8 Inhibitor Ac-Arg-Arg-Trp-Trp-Cys--Arg--NH2 has been shown to be effective in reducing chronic bronchitis and pancreatitis in animal models. The effective dose for IL 8 inhibitor is not yet known.
