1-(4-Isopropylphenyl)ethanamine is a diastereomer of amphetamine. It is a synthetic drug that is used in the form of an hydrochloride. The optical isomer of 1-(4-isopropylphenyl)ethanamine can be obtained by heating the compound with hydrochloric acid or carbonyl group.
