5-Isopropylisoxazole-3-carbonyl chloride is a colorless to light yellow liquid that is soluble in organic solvents. It is used as a reagent, speciality chemical, or intermediate for the preparation of other chemicals. 5-Isopropylisoxazole-3-carbonyl chloride has been used in the synthesis of a variety of biologically active compounds, including pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals.
