3-(Isopropylamino)propan-1-ol is a solvent that is soluble in water. It can be used for the absorption of non-polar solvents in order to purify them. 3-(Isopropylamino)propan-1-ol is absorbed by many materials, such as cyclic and linear amines, which are then converted into other substances. The equilibrium constant (K) of this reaction is dependent on the concentration of 3-(isopropylamino)propan-1-ol and the concentration of amine.
