Product Information
Indolo[3,2-b]carbazole is a fluorescent probe that can be used to detect human feces. The photophysical properties of this molecule have been studied in detail. Intermolecular hydrogen bonding and suzuki coupling reactions have been identified as the main processes responsible for the fluorescence intensity of indolo[3,2-b]carbazole. It has also been shown to inhibit the transport properties of ascorbigen by binding to nitrogen atoms. Indolo[3,2-b]carbazole has also been shown to increase the oxidative DNA damage in murine hepatoma cells via its ability to form hydrogen bonds with picolinic acid and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements showed it to be an excellent hydrogen bond acceptor.
The product name is 6-Fluoro-3-indoxyl-beta-D-galactopyranoside
